Bu sayede ger\u00e7ek ve \u00f6l\u00fcms\u00fcz a\u015fk\u0131 da tan\u0131d\u0131 Berger. 23 y\u0131l s\u00fcren bir a\u015fk \u00f6yk\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn ard\u0131ndan 1947&#8217;de evlendiler. Ancak bu evlilikten alt\u0131 ay sonra Karl Berger, B\u00fcy\u00fckada \u0130skelesi&#8217;nde ge\u00e7irdi\u011fi bir kalp krizi sonucu \u00f6ld\u00fc. Sanat\u00e7\u0131, e\u015fi \u00f6ld\u00fckten sonra Londra&#8217;ya giderek John Buckland Wright&#8217;in At\u00f6lyesi&#8217;nde heykel ve grav\u00fcr \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131, 1951&#8217;de T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;ye d\u00f6nd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde ilk ki\u015fisel sergisini a\u00e7t\u0131.<br \/>\nUluslararas\u0131 Sanat Ele\u015ftirmenleri Derne\u011fi&#8217;nin (AICA) 1954&#8217;te \u0130stanbul&#8217;da toplanan kongresi nedeniyle Yap\u0131 Kredi Bankas\u0131&#8217;n\u0131n d\u00fczenledi\u011fi yar\u0131\u015fmada ilk ya\u011fl\u0131boya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 &#8220;G\u00fcne\u015f&#8221; adl\u0131 tablosuyla birincilik \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fcn\u00fc, bir y\u0131l sonra ikinci Tahran Bienali&#8217;nde ikincilik \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fcn\u00fc ald\u0131.<br \/>\nSanat\u00e7\u0131 Aliye Berger, d\u0131\u015favurumcu oyma bask\u0131lar\u0131 ile tan\u0131n\u0131r.<br \/>\nAliye Berger desen ve ya\u011fl\u0131boya resimler yapt\u0131ysa da \u00e7o\u011funlukla oyma bask\u0131 tekni\u011finde, siyah-beyaz\u0131n ara tonlar\u0131nda yap\u0131tlar verdi.
